Elizabeth H

Office Assistant/Digital Ministries Director

I was born into a wonderful Minnesota Twins loving family. We listened to Bible Stories in the morning, and Halsey Hall and Herb Carneal at night. At the tender age of three I declared, “Bernie Allen is my favorite player.” It would be a couple of years until I asked Jesus into my heart. Baseball is still a love, but it now comes second to my love of Jesus.

After graduating from Bethel with a degree in English Literature, and from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Library Science, I spent two years in Okinawa and gained a new appreciation of missions and God’s provision. Both have served me well in jobs in Christian education, mission fundraising, and church work. For 11 plus years, I had the great privilege of caring for my parents on a full-time basis. While I learned many things that have nothing to do with my new job, there is one thing that my coworkers need to be aware of – they will never be able to give me the kind of encouragement and positive feedback that my last boss (my mom) gave me. Still, I am excited and blessed to be working at First Baptist.
