  • The Adult Bible Study Teacher is expected to teach, reach, and minister to members and guests with the help of other leaders within the group.

    One year minimum

     

    Responsibilities/Duties

    1.      Participate in Teachers’ meetings and training opportunities.

    2.      Work with group Teaching Coordinator and Leadership Team to choose curriculum for your class.

    3.      Study and prepare for each weekly lesson.

    4.      Pray for class members and guests.

    5.      Arrive 15 minutes before class begins to make sure classroom is prepared and to greet people as they arrive.

    6.      Lead each week’s class and involve participants in studying and learning God’s Word through various teaching methods that fit the particular group.

    7.      Promote spiritual growth and unity among class members.

    • 1.      Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 5-15 hours/week when teaching
    • 2.      Participating in meetings/training: as needed; continual strengthening of teaching skills

     

  • The Standing Free Ministry seeks to thwart the work of the enemy by removing spiritual stronghold in the lives of God’s children and equip them to maintain their freedom in the Lord Jesus Christ.

    One year minimum

     

    Responsibilities/Duties

    1. Able to attend ministry appointments scheduled on the first Tuesday of every month.
    2. Pray for needs such as salvation, commitment, and re-dedicated lives, protection from evil, wisdom and safety for leaders, special requests, to tear down strongholds, etc.
    3. Engage in spiritual warfare through teaching and exhortation.
    4. Do not share confidential information with those outside the ministry.
