Welcome to Women's Ministry at First Baptist!

Below you will find several opportunities to get plugged in with the women in our community. Please continue to check back and find addition opportunities to get involved and enjoy First Baptist women's events.

"First Baptist Women's Ministry exists to equip women to grow in love and grace

and to build real relationships with Jesus and women of all ages."

Women's Bible Study BEGINS!!!

Join us for this beautiful study on the book of Philippians - Paul's Letter of JOY!  Starting Saturday mornings from 8am, May 30-July 18.  Each week's video should be viewed prior to Saturday morning's Zoom discussion led by Laura Evenson.  Haven't used Right Now Media or Zoom before??? We can help!  Contact Rebecca.

In this eight-session series, Jo Saxton takes us through Philippians to encourage us to follow Jesus no matter what life throws at us. Through Paul's words and example, learn how joy and sacrifice can go hand-in-hand.  Register HERE.

Coffee Connection

Our June 22 Coffee Connection will be held via Zoom!  Please join us between 9-11AM and/or 6-8PM.

All women of ALL ages, no registration necessary

At a time like this we women NEED EACH OTHER!!!  If you are able, we encourage you to reach out to a neighbor or friend and have "coffee" or "tea" virtually via Zoom, FaceTime or another video conferencing avenue.  Courageously invite some women in your life to join you.

Friends First Quilters

Our official quilting season has ended.  Please check back for next season's schedule.  We encourage you to keep quilting and bless one another with encouragement.

Other Opportunities for Women

These are not First Baptist Women's Events, but they are faith building opportunities that many women are taking advantage of. Click on the following links to get more information and PLEASE let us know if you plan to attend. Our Women's Ministry Team would be blessed to be praying for you!

  • Bible Study Fellowship - BSF is offered at a Satellite location in Cambridge! Contact Tammy Coleman for location and registration information.

  • Widow Might - Contact the Coordinator: North-Metro (Cambridge area) Widow Connect Gatherings by visiting their website.
Mission - help widows connect so they may live, heal, grow and, in time, thrive.
Purpose - exist to serve today's community of widows and are an expression of God's might in their world. Our passion is for the widow - to meet her where she is, on her terms, in meaningful ways, at appropriate times, and to expect nothing in return.

Spring Women's Retreat

What an absolutely glorious time! We sought God's presence together and learned how to become more rooted in Him. Rooted in Prayer, Joy, Faith, Trust, and Hope

Thank you to the Retreat Committee - Jamie, Sandy, Tara, and Kelly. And a HUGE shout out to Arlene Gabrielson, our retreat speaker!!

We hope to offer our next retreat Fall 2020.  Mark your calendars and set aside SEP 11-13.

Your Women's Ministry Team - Diana Gagnon, Rebecca Nelson (Coordinator), Julie Tooker and Julie Page

We meet monthly to pray for women of First Baptist and the surrounding communities.  We seek God and His guidance for the ministry we have been called to lead.  We are unified as a team to support the church-wide vision and to say "Yes" to God things!  Please pray for us as we do our very best to follow where God is leading us.
