Sunday Worship Services

Traditional Worship - 8:30am, Sanctuary

The 8:30am Traditional service at First Baptist Church is held in our Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a traditional venue that seats about 350 people. It is located through the main entrance of the church, up the stairs on the left and through the first set of double doors on the right. There will be people available at the Welcome Center to help direct you if you need assistance. Service times run about an hour and begin with announcements and an offering followed by a time of prayer and worship. The 40+ voice church choir sings most weeks and our worship is led typically by pipe organ and piano. Words to hymns are projected on a large screen, and videos and dramas are occasionally incorporated into the service as well. The teaching is always based on the truths found in the Bible and will inspire and challenge you in your day-to-day life. The choir and worship team leads hymns from The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration and the people in attendance are encouraged to sing along as they feel comfortable. Words to the hymns will be up on the screens or you can use the hymnals located in the backs of the pews. Contemporary Worship - 9:45 & 11:10am, Multi Purpose Room

The 9:45am and 11:10am Contemporary services at First Baptist Church are held in our Multi Purpose Room. The Multi Purpose Room is a modern and comfortable venue that seats about 450 people. It is located through the main entrance of the church, up the stairs on the left, and through the first set of double doors on the left. There will be people available at the Welcome Center to help direct you if you need assistance. Service times run a little more than an hour and begin with announcements and an offering followed by a time of prayer and worship with a band and a message. Words to songs are projected on large screens, and videos and dramas may also be incorporated into the service. The teaching is always based on the truths found in the Bible and will inspire and challenge you in your day to day life. The band and vocal team leads worship songs by artists like Lincoln Brewster, Chris Tomlin and Hillsong United and the people in attendance are encouraged to sing along as they feel comfortable. There is also a time during the service for children ages 4 thru 1st grade to leave and participate in Children’s Church led by our wonderful Children’s Ministry.
