  • Women's Fall Bible Study - "The Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer - promo video

    Join us for the Bible study “The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer. It will bring to light the war around you and challenge you to suit up, stand firm, and secure victory in your life.

    • Thursday evenings from 7-9PM in the Sr. High Youth room from September 22-November 10
    • Monday mornings from 9-11AM in room 201 from September 26-November 14.
    • ONLINE starting September 22

  • Women's Bible Study Resources

    Past ONLINE Bible Studies -

    Right Now Media is a FABULOUS resource if you are considering leading a Bible Study in your neighborhood, at your workplace, or just by yourself.  Anyone who attends First Baptist Church may request access to Right Now Media by calling the church office @ 763.689.1173.


    Women's Ministry also has a number of Leader Kits and DVD's that can be made available for your group.  Please contact Rebecca if you are interested in utilizing any of these resources.

  • Coffee Connection

    The next Coffee Connection will be held on Monday, October 17 at the home of Barb Holmberg!  Please come between 9-11AM and/or 7-9PM.   This is a great opportunity to connect by reaching out and inviting friends or neighbors!  There is no agenda, just come and enjoy refreshments and fellowship.  If you are a regular attender and receive email notifications, you will be sent a reminder with the hostess's address the weekend prior to the gathering.

  • Friends First Quilters

    Do you like to quilt? Get together with other quilters, learn new tips, and share your knowledge with others at our monthly quilting group September to May.   If you are not a quilter but have a portable craft to work on, you are welcome to join us!

    The room is equipped with iron, ironing board, and plenty of tables for cutting and sewing.  Bring your own sewing machine and supplies.  Work on your favorite quilting project (or any other craft) and be inspired and encouraged by others gals who LOVE TO QUILT!  Contact Gale Husom with questions. We'd love for you to join us!

  • Women's Book Club

    A book is selected each month for reading and will be announced in the bulletin.  Any women interested are invited to read the book and come to discuss it on the 2nd Tuesday of the following month.

  • Community Women's Event! - Thursday, January 12, 2017

    The "Christmas Extravaganza!" will not be held in 2016.  God is doing a new thing!  Join us Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Spirit River Community Center for a time to be inspired, grow in your faith and make new friendships with other women in our community.  Your Women's Ministry Team is excited that Melody LaBeau and her team of community women will  bring you an event that you can be excited to share with your family and friends!

  • Fall Retreat - September 16-18, 2016 at Timber Bay Retreat Center in Onamia, Minnesota
