Women's Ministry

Welcome to Women's Ministry at First Baptist!  Below you will find several opportunities to get plugged in with the women in our community.  Please continue to check back and find addition opportunities to get involved and enjoy FBC women's events. We women NEED each other! The wisdom and friendship that many women have shared with me over the years has been instrumental in my growing relationship with Christ.

    • Enjoy the flexibility of participating in a timeframe that works for you each week
Contact Rebecca if you're interested in joining our FBC group for a new study starting THIS January.  (Please check back to see what we will be studying).  It's really never too late to start one of these studies!  Most of us stay on track with one another, but you can do these on your own OR with a friend or two.  Be sure to let me know if you are making use of these studies, and please reach out to me if you'd like encouragement as you make this journey.

You will find access to all the session videos for "Living Free" (A Beth Moore study) on the Lifeway blog.  At this point, the FBC group has completed this study, but these videos will be left on our site for those of you who haven't finished yet, OR want to begin on your own.  You can find the Listening Guides here as well.

  • Christmas Extravaganza! - December 1st

Tickets were SOLD OUT on November 8th!  Wow!  What a fabulous response!  The speaker this year will be Joanne Thompson.  She is the author of the book, "Table Life: Savoring the Hospitality of Jesus in Your Home."  She has served churches in Colorado and Minnesota with her husband who is a pastor.  Together they have practiced hospitality by inviting friends and strangers to enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread, and a scoop of sherbet.  Joanne has spoken on the theme of hospitality nationally.  She is also a part of the speaker team for FamilyLife "Weekends to Remember" marriage conferences.  Her passion for homemade bread complements her love for tandem biking and cross country skiing.  Joanne currently resides in Minnesota.  Joanne and her husband have two daughters and six grandchildren.

Sandy Galligan, Julie Page and Beth Bayerl will be providing music for the evening.

Contact Barb or Janie if you have any questions about the event itself.  Contact Twila if you have questions about tickets.

We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday, December 1st!
