Women's Groups & Events

  • Fall Bible Study plans are underway!

Your Women's Ministry Team is currently putting together a plan for this next year.  Feel free to make suggestions to Rebecca if you know of a fabulous bible study that you would like to see offered.

  • Past Online Bible Studies

"Living Free" - You will find access to all the session videos for "Living Free" (A Beth Moore study) on the Lifeway blog.  At this point, the FBC group has completed this study, but these videos will be left on our site for those of you who haven't finished yet, OR want to begin on your own.  You can find the Listening Guides here as well.

"What Love Is" - You will find access to all the session videos for "What Love Is" (A Kelly Minter study) on the Lifeway blog.

"Becoming Myself" - You will find access to all the session videos for "Becoming Myself" (by Staci Eldredge) through Right Now Media.  If you do not yet have access to this resource, please contact the church office with a request.

  • Coffee Connection

The next Coffee Connection will be held on Monday, August 22 at the home of Janie Pearson!  Please come between 9-11AM and/or 7-9PM.   This is a great opportunity to connect by reaching out and inviting friends or neighbors!  There is no agenda, just come and enjoy refreshments and fellowship.  If you are a regular attender and receive email notifications, you will be sent a reminder with the hostess's address the weekend prior to the gathering.

  • Friends First Quilters

Do you like to quilt? Get together with other quilters, learn new tips, and share your knowledge with others at our monthly quilting group September to May.

The room is equipped with iron, ironing board, and plenty of tables for cutting and sewing.  Bring your own sewing machine and supplies.  Work on your favorite quilting project (or any other craft) and be inspired and encouraged by others gals who LOVE TO QUILT!  Contact Gale Husom with questions. We'd love for you to join us!

  • Women's Book Club

A book is selected each month for reading and will be announced in the bulletin.  Any women interested are invited to read the book and come to discuss it on the 2nd Tuesday of the following month. We meet from September to May.  A book list for next year is coming together!  Check back near the end of the summer for a detailed listing of books.

If you're looking for a good book to end the summer with, consider "Becoming Myself" by Staci Eldredge.  Good stuff and can be an easy read.

Please email Kay Kast if you have any questions OR if you have a suggestion for next year's book list!  :)
