Women's Ministry

Welcome to Women's Ministry at First Baptist!  Below you will find several opportunities to get plugged in with the women in our community.  Please continue to check back and find addition opportunities to get involved and enjoy FBC women's events. We women NEED each other! The wisdom and friendship that many women have shared with me over the years has been instrumental in my growing relationship with Christ.

Women's Groups & Events

  • "Living Free" OnSite Bible Study

Starting Thursday Evenings January 21 OR Monday Mornings January 25.

Please plan to join us and continue growing in your faith by attending Beth Moore's "Living Free."  An online option this past Fall, we are now offering it onsite!  Consider joining one of our 7-week groups: either Thursday Nights from 7-9PM OR Monday Mornings from 9-11AM.  We will be watching a video together and spending some time discussing the past weeks homework. Please contact Rebecca if you are interested in joining.  You may purchase your workbook online yourself or it is also available in a LifeWay eReader edition if you'd prefer to use your tablet, kindle, or iPad.  Workbooks are $13.

As you learn to pray Scripture with Living Free, you'll realize the life God desires for you. Author Beth Moore explores the somewhat radical idea that we cannot please God by being perfect.

The study begins by defining false strongholds, then focuses on five key benefits for every believer:

    1. Know God and believe Him
    2. Glorify God
    3. Find satisfaction in God
    4. Experience God's peace
    5. Enjoy God

"What Love Is" Online Bible Study

    Watch the Introductory Video here!

Watch the Session Two Video here.

Watch the Session Three Video here.

Each week there will be a new video posted.

Contact Rebecca if you're interested in joining our FBC group  starting January 21. By preregistering you will receive an email each Thursday with a link to watch the short 5-7 minute video on your own.  You will be asked to answer questions about what you are learning through FirstLink. This is a VERY important part of our online study. It will be expected that by joining this group, you participate by responding. A commitment to respond will keep you growing AND spur other women on to learn along with us. You can do this study on your own OR EVEN BETTER... consider meeting with a friend or two at a time that works, watch the video and respond together after discussion!

You may purchase your workbook online yourself or it is also available in a LifeWay eReader edition if you'd prefer to use your tablet, kindle, or iPad. Workbooks are $13.
  • Past Online Bible Studies
